Back in the wood where it's good and the days are yeah long
C F Fsus4 F
Well I saw me a child, she was wild like a lady going all wrong
C F Fsus4 F
Dark as the night, she was right for a little conversation
C F Fsus4 F
So I pulled her right in and she said she had some imagination

[Chorus]
G G6 G
Black swampy water
F Fsus4 F
That's where I caught her

So we lay in the grass, what a gas, you can't know that you were there

So then I let it all go, what a show was like blowing up a freight train
C F Fsus4 F
Then around the world I would go like jumping on a jet plane

[Chorus]

Black swampy water
F Fsus4 F
That's where I caught her
G G6 G
Black swampy water
F Fsus4 F
Ooh, what I taught her, yeah
