Four years of hard work!

This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

Apparently Crossroads of the Stepping Stones is almost completely forgotten. I see
little reference to it online. It's a fantastic tune that blends elements of Simon &
Garfunkel-esque folk rock, baroque pop, and psychedelic rock.

I've transcribed the lyrics as best I could. There may be mistakes. This applies to the
chords as well, but I feel a bit more confident in them. :-P

Verse:

G Bm
The crossroads of the stepping stones
G7 C
Older than the oldest pebble in the winding streams (it's there if you can find it)
D
A place for good dreams (just to get away)
G Bm
I once went to the crossroads of the stepping stones
G7 C
I met a boy who spoke in tones that were as young as time (he was so glad to see me)
D
Singin' in rhyme (sounded far away)

We were there alone

Interlude: G-Bm-G7-C-D

(How do you do, sir?

Please come along with me,

and I'll show you the way

to another day.

If you wanna be free

Come on along with me

Take my hand

And I'll take you to the promised land)

That part with all the modulations before the bridge: F-Bb-G-C-Ab-C#

Bridge:
Eb
He said "not many people come here
Bb
It's very hard to find
E (4th fret)
Oh, but if you stay

We'll have some wine here
D
The sun is shinin' just fine here"
C D (D7)
I said "I'll stay just as long as you'd be so kind
N.C.
As to invite me"

Verse:
G Bm
The crossroads of the stepping stones
G7 C
Right underneath the glassy waters of the winding streams (they shine when sunlight hits them)
D
A place for good dreams (just to get away)
G Bm
We went back to the crossroads of the stepping stones
G7 C
The dragonflies were skimming over the water's face (they barely touched the surface)
D
A featherbed place (music of its own) [not really sure about this line]

Won't you come along

Outro: G-Bm-G7-C-D

(Well, I'm glad you could make it

Now just step this way

Let's see if we can find him again

It's not very far

Just around the bend over here

Yeah, I can see we're gettin' closer now

Ahh, there he is

Look at that smile!

Yeah, don't it make you feel good!

Yeah, he's waitin'!

Yeah, come on, come on, come on!

Yeah, he's waitin' for us!)
