Ebri Knight nace el 2004 bajo el nombre de Nota Negra, anagrama de Argentona, su pueblo natal. Nace con la voluntad de mezclar la magia de la música celta con estilos de grupos completamente distanciados de este estilo. Más adelante el grupo cambia de componentes y pasa a decirse Ebri Knight, nombre que combina la simbología del caballero medieval [Knight] con el entorno en que nace la música celta y tradicional: la tasca [Ebri].
