Death on Wednesday

No Regrets

by Death on Wednesday
Death on Wednesday

Biography:

Comfortable in both the indie rock and Orange County punk communities, Death on Wednesday added a dose of dark introspection to their brand of SoCal punk-pop. Composed of guitarist/vocalist Nate Lawler, guitarist Jeff Saenz, bassist Kevin Smith, and drummer Jorma Vik, the group was originally dubbed the Redliners, and developed a strong local following in the Orange County area. After a name change, Death on Wednesday signed with the SideCho label and recorded their debut album.

G D
We stand alone so patiently
Am C
We take our time to smoke some cigarettes
G D
We'll take a ride to go get high
Am C
And if we die we know not to regret

Funny how this girl I knew
D
Never seemed to have a clue
Am C
What I did with my friends

G
When she left I wondered why
D
But that's all I felt inside
Am C
Pick her over my friends?

G
I would rather die
D
We used to take those walks, girl
Am
we used to have those talks, girl
C
How you loved romance

G
But where were you last night
D
When I was getting crazy
Am
With someone else's lady
C
And he pulled out a knife

G
Tried to take my life?
D
You never paid attention
Am
Session after session
C
You still couldn't understand
C
