Death in June

Doubt To Nothing

by Death in June
Death in June

Biography:

Death in June are a neofolk group led by UK musician Douglas Pearce. Although originally a post-punk band, they are credited with the initial development of neofolk music along with Current 93 and Sol Invictus.

Death in June emerged in 1981, reuniting singer/multi-instrumentalist Douglas P. and bassist Tony Wakeford; drummer Patrick Leagas completed the original lineup, which made its live debut late the following year with an opening slot for the Birthday Party.

Title : Doubt To Nothing

These are the chords for the acoustic bonus version.

E7#9sus4 is actually all open strings played together and is always only played one strum. (It's used because
it sounds deeper then Em)

Em
Oh, far away
Em
There lies a dream
Em
We're all seeking

Em
It's locked away
Em
The key hangs near
Em
Our hands are tied

Em
And far away
Em
In darkest days
Em
We are living
Em
I call your name
Em
Too wrapped in lies
Em
You can't hear me

Em
So far away
Em
Near shores of deep
Em
Empty oceans
Em
There lies the pearl
Em
There lies the dream
Em
And our conscience

Am
We'll rise above
C Em
We'll rise above all the killing
Am
We'll rise above
C D
We'll rise above while they're sleeping

Em
Still far away
Em
There lies a dream
Em
We're all seeking
Em
Still locked away
Em
The key hangs near
Em
Our hands are tired

Am
We'll rise above
C
We'll rise above
Em
While they're sleeping
Am
We'll rise above
C D
We'll rise above all the killing

Am
We'll rise above
C
We'll rise above
Em
While they're sleeping
Am
We'll rise above
C D
We'll rise above all the killing
