Mama And Them
By David Lee Murphy

E
There's a rusty ole tin roof overhead
A
That keeps out the rain at night
E
A lazy ole dog lying under the truck
B
And he's been known to bite
E
There's a 12 gauge shotgun over the door
A
So darlin don't be surprised
E A
If we end up staring down a double barrel
B E
When we pull up the drive

[Chorus]
A
Mama and them have always lived
E
Way back up in the hills
E
Nothings ever changed em
B
Lord nothing ever will
E
If they don't shoot first
B
The'll ask us in
E
And treat you just like
A
Long lost kin

E B
Honey your gonna fit right in
E
With mama and them

E
Better honk the horn just to let'em know
A
They don't get much company
E
And they won't believe this big cadillac
B
Really belongs to me
E
If you ain't sure yet just what to expect
A
>From my side of the family
E A
Well you better duck till they know its us
B E
I can't make no guarantee
