David Kramer

Biography:

David Kramer was born in Worcester , South Africa. He is a South African folk singer and musician. He began his career in the mid 1970's.

His first album BAKGAT! was released in 1980 and immediately banned due to its political satire, coarse language and the mixing of languages. He sings in English and Afrikaans.

He was and is also active in directing/producing stage productions. Two of his more famous musicals is District Six (1986) and Kat and the Kings.
