Four years of hard work!

This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

364 Artist   35 Music   210 Tab Tab
I can only tab the chords because I only play piano but I was shocked this song has
never been submitted. It's too cool a song. This is the song as it appears on the
Underworld Soundtrack NOT the Reality album (because I think it's a better version).
Don't try and play along with the Reality version, as it's different instrumentation.
Also, bear with me, it's my first submission, and some chords may not be exact.
Comments, questions, corrections? E-mail: [email protected] ...thanks!

-Andrew

NOTE: in this tab, a slash with a note next to it means play the same chord but change
the bass note. So if you see Fm7, then later, /Db, then that's short hand for
Fm7/Db...sorry if that's confusing.

BRING ME THE DISCO KING
Words and original music by David Bowie
Remixed by Danny Lohner

INTRO: Fm7 (add 4)
...(*Guitar, strum between 8 and 11 on your high-E...but that's all the help I
can give you!)

Fm7 Eb
You promised me the ending would be clear
Cm7 Fm7
You'd let me know when the time was now
Db Fm7
Don't let me know when you're opening the door
Eb Fm7/C
Stab me in the dark, let me disappear

Memories that flutter like bats out of hell
Stab you from the city spires
Life wasn't worth the balance
Or the crumpled paper it was written on

Fm7sus4 /Eb
Don't let me know we're invisible
/D /Db
Don't let me know we're invisible

Hot cash days that you trailed around
Cold, cold nights under chrome and glass
Led me down a river of perfume limbs
Sent me to the streets with the good time girls

Don't let me know we're invisible
Don't let me know we're invisible

Fm7 /Eb
We could dance, dance, dance through the fire
/Db Fm7
Dance, dance, dance through the fire

Db Eb
Feed me no lies
Fm7
I don't know about you, I don't know about you

Db Eb
Breathe through the years
Fm7
I don't know about you, I don't know about you

Db Eb
Bring me the disco king
Fm7
I don't know about you, I don't know about you

Db Eb Db Eb
Dead or alive, Feed me no lies

Fm7
Bring me the disco king
Bring me the disco king
Bring me the disco king
Bring me the head of the disco king

Repeat INTRO (Fm7)
*except this time play the chords that appear in the "dance, dance, dance" section with less intensity

Spin offs with those who slept like corpses
Damp morning rays in the stiff back clubs
Killing time in the 70s
Smelling of love through the moist wind

Don't let me know when you're opening the door
Close me in the dark let me disappear
Soon there'll be nothing left of me
Nothing left to release

Dance, dance, dance through the fire
Dance, dance, dance through the fire

Feed me no lies
I don't know about you, I don't know about you

Breathe through the years
I don't know about you, I don't know about you

Bring me the disco king
I don't know about you, I don't know about you

Db Eb
Breathe through the years
Db Eb
Dead or alive
Db Eb
Bring me the disco king

Fm7
Bring me the disco king, Bring me the disco king
Fm7
Bring me the disco king, Bring me the disco king
Fm7
Bring me the disco king, Bring me the disco king
N.C.
Bring me the disco king
