Song: Forest Fires

G C Am
Used to Feel like a Smoker, Shivering in the Cold

D G
Waiting Outside the Bar, Till the openers over.

C Am
Now you feel like a drinker, Twenty Days off the Sauce

D D9 C
Down at the liqour store, Tryin to call your sponsor

D G
Used to feel like a Forest Fire burning

Em Bm C
But now, now you feel like a child

D G
Throwing tantrums for your turn.

G - G/C

G C Am
Used to Sound like a prophet and everyone wanted to know

D G
how you could tell the truth without loosing the soft glow

C Am
Now you feel like salesman, closing another deal.

D D9 C
Or some drunk fisherman, chasing after the white whale

D G
used to feel like a forest fire burning

Em Bm C D C
but now, now you feel like a child throwing tantrums for your turn

D G
used to feel like a prodigal returning

Em Bm C D C
but now, now you hate what you made and you want to watch it burn

D D9 G
want to watch it burn
