Desperate.. Desperate..

Ebm
You're reachin' out,

B
And no one hears your cry

Ebm
You're freakin' out again

B
'Cause all your fears remind you

F#
Another dream has come undone

C#
You feel so small and lost

Ebm
Like you're the only one

B F#
You wanna scream,

C#
'Cause you're desperate

CHORUS

B F
You want somebody, just anybody

C# Ebm
To lay their hands on your soul tonight

B F#
You want a reason to keep believin'

Ebm C#
That some day you're gonna see the light...

Ebm
You're in the dark

B
There's no one left to call

Ebm
And sleep's your only friend,

B
But even sleep can't hide you

F#
From all those tears and all the pain

C# Ebm B
And all those days you wasted pushin' them away

F# C#
It's your life, it's time you face it

CHORUS

B F#
You want somebody, just anybody

C# Ebm
To lay their hands on your soul tonight

B F#
You want a reason to keep believin'

Ebm C#
That some day you're gonna see the light...

B Ebm
'Cause you're desperate, desperate

B C#
'Cause you're desperate now...

BRIDGE
