Darius Rucker, "Radio"

(intro)
G C F C, G Cb-C E-F C

(verse)
G C
Seventeen, the only way I had a car
F C
Is after I dropped my Momma off where she needed to go
G
Four bald tires
C
With the ceiling falling and the windows stuck
F C
But the only thing I cared about was the radio
C
We turned it on, turned it up to 10
C
And everybody would jump on in

(Chorus)
G
Ridin down the highway
Cb-C
Who wants to be the DJ
E-F
I’ll find a spot on the side of the road
C
You find something on the radio
G
Like a real, real good song
Cb-C
We'll know it when it comes on
E-F
Didn't have no money no place to go
C
All we needed was a radio

(instrumental)
G Cb-C E-F C

(verse)
G
I grabbed my girl
C
We looked for somewhere to watch the stars
F C
A perfect place to put it park and take it slow
G
She sang along
C
To even the ones that she barely knew
F
Still sounded good, a little louder too
C
But we didn’t care
C
I looked at her, she looked at me
C
I’ll never forget that melody

(Chorus)
G
Ridin down the highway
Cb-C
Who wants to be the DJ
E-F
I’ll find a spot on the side of the road
C
You find something on the radio
G
Like a real, real good song
Cb-C
We'll know it when it comes on
E-F
Didn't have no money no place to go
C
All we needed was a radio

(instrumental)
G C F C G

(no chord)
Hey ya’ll be quiet, that’s my favorite song

Hey man, turn it up loud
C
Come on, come on, come on

(Chorus)
G
Ridin down the highway
Cb-C
Who wants to be the DJ
E-F
I’ll find a spot on the side of the road
C
You find something on the radio
G
Like a real, real good song
Cb-C
We'll know it when it comes on
E-F
Didn't have no money no place to go
C
All we needed was a radio

(sung simultaneously)
F-G Cb-C E-F
(radio ra-radio) (radio ra-radio) (radio ra-radio)
aww all we needed,
