Intro C G C G In 3/4
Lyrics:
C Em F G
1. The fields are high and summer's days are few;
C Am G
green fields have turned to gold.
F Em
The time is here for the harvesting,
F Bb G
for gathering home into barns.

Refrain:
C G F C
The harvest is plenty: laborers are few.
Em F G
Come with me into the fields.
F G Em Am
Your arms may grow weary; your shoes will wear thin.
C G C
Come with me into the fields.

2.
C Em F G
The seeds were sown by other hands than yours;
C Am G
nurtured and cared for they grow.
F Em
But those who have sown will not harvest them;
F Bb G
the reaping will not be their care.

Refrain:
C G F C
The harvest is plenty: laborers are few.
Em F G
Come with me into the fields.
F G Em Am
Your arms may grow weary; your shoes will wear thin.

Come with me into the fields.
