I play half step down, capo on second fret. This is probably played in standard tune
open so do whatever feels
right for your voice or ear. I do not believe this is the exact way Eric Bachmann plays
but it is the best I
could do by ear. The rhythm is fairly simple to pick up for the verse although it is
different on the chorus,
instead of hitting the base and strumming down up there will just be strums of a
different pattern. It is
fairly simple to figure out by listening to the song. As I said, this may not be 100%
accurate, if you find
places that could be corrected, feel free to let me know!

[Verse 1]

Em, G x4
Am C Am
Went to see my fortune teller
C Em G Em
To see which way the winds were blowin'
G Am C Am
She said you'll probably get the cancer
C Em G Em
She said you'll surely die alone

[Chorus]

G C G
It seems so far away and so long
D Em
Ago to, do any harm
C G D
To draw the same bad blood out of you

[Verse 2]

Em, G x4
Went to see my fortune teller
Am C Am
I'll take my chances on the hustle
C Em G Em
I'll cut my losses and keep movin'
G Am C Am
Double-cross'll cost you double
C G Em G
But you got nothing left for losing
G Am C Am
So won't you tell me fortune teller
C Em G Em
Which way the chilly winds are blowin
G Am C Am
Blow me down I got no future
C Em G Em
Don't blow me back I got no home

[Chorus]

G C
And if I call my name
G
In your arms
D
Cutting you
Em
In my love
C G D
To draw the same bad blood out of you

[Interlude]

Am C
Years rolling by
Am C
Eye for an eye
Am C G
All I can see now is the damage done
Am C
If what you do
Am C
Comes back to you
Am C G
We've got a lot to be afraid of

[Chorus]
C G
It seems so far away and so long
D Em
Ago to, do any harm
C G D
To draw the same bad blood out of you
C
And if I call my name
G
In your arms
D
Cutting you
Em
In my love
C G D
To draw the same bad blood out of you

Em, G x4
