Electric Guitar: distorted power chords
Acoustic Guitar: open chords

Palm mute during the verse, then let rip on the chorus. There are many riffs and notes throughout the verse.
These are easy to add on your own, just experiment.

Electric riff
This starts on second verse and every verse thereafter. Let ring. The X's are string noise, listen
and you'll hear it. Feel free to skip it, especially if playing on two acoustics.

e -----5----------7------xxx-----3------5-----7
B --------------5--------xxx----------3-----5--
G ---7-------------------xxx--5----------------

Intro/chorus riff
During the intro and chorus, the electric riff is right around here. Feel free to make it your own.

B ----8-8---------8-8-------
G --------9-9----9-9---9-9--

intro (play twice, second time with intro/chorus riff above):

Em (x8) D (x8) C (x4) Am (x4) Em (x8)

D
Oh, yeah I feel alright tonight
Em
Oh, man the stars are bright tonight
C Am
Like we could reach right out
Em
And help yourself to them

D
Cause what we want and what we need
Em
Will one day bring us to our knees
C Am
Well, I am over it
Em
You know that I've accepted it

Em
Let's go for a ride
D
Let's go for a ride
C
Let's go for a ride
Am Em
Go for a ride

Em
Let's go for a ride
D
Let's go for a ride
C
Let's go for a ride
Am Em
Go for a ride

D
So, drive real fast through the underpass
Em
And if we die or if we crash
C Am
Well I'd be flattered to
Em
Be buried right next to you

D
Cause what's yours is yours
What's mine is mine
Em
In the summertime
Under the blackened sky
C Am
The world belongs to us
Em
Baby lets use it up.

Em
Let's go for a ride
D
Let's go for a ride
C
Let's go for a ride
Am Em
Go for a ride

(repeat until tired)
