Wonderfully melancholy song from The 'Mode.
Song not really suited to conventional guitar chords, or at least they are very 'jazz style '
If you want to convey the smooth feeling of the original song, then it's maybe better to
between 'power chord' shapes higher up the neck and mix with lead play to help find the
notes that change the mood of the song, but here are the conventional style chords, as
the tab book release... ( edited an error for Em7/D

{define: Em - 022000 }
{define: Em7/D - xx0030 }
{define: Cmaj7/G - 332000 } add 'G' root note for a nicer feel.
{define: Dsus4 - xx0233 }
{define: D - xx0232 } alternatively add an F# root perhaps {2x0232}
{define: B7/D# - x64445 } awkward chord. Maybe leave out the 5th fret note?
{define: B7 - x21202 }
{define: Am7 - x02010 }
{define: B7#5 - x25243 } awkward barred chord. big stretch because of root note! Can't
root note tho. Loses the feel and mood without it.
{define: G - 320033 }

Chords, as of the start of the singing:

Em Em7/D Cmaj7/G
Sister of night
Em Em7/D Cmaj7/G
When the hunger descends
Em Em7/D Cmaj7/G
And your body's a fire
Em Em7/D Cmaj7/G
An inferno that never ends
Dsus4 D
An eternal flame
B7/D# B7
That burns in desire's name

Em Em7/D Cmaj7/G
Sister of night
Em Em7/D Cmaj7/G
When the longing returns
Em Em7/D Cmaj7/G
Giving voice to the flame
Em Em7/D Cmaj7/G
Calling you through flesh that burns
Dsus4 D
Breaking down your will
B7/D# B7
To move in for the kill

Am7 Em
Oh sister, come for me
B7#5 B7 G
Embrace me, assure me
Am7 Em B7#5 B7
Hey sister, I feel it too
Am7 Em
Sweet sister, just feel me
B7#5 B7 G
I'm trembling, you heal me
Am7 Em B7#5 B7
Hey sister, I feel it too

Rest of song follows same pattern.
Instrumental outro as follows:

Am7
Em
B7#5 B7
G
Am7
Em
B7#5
B7
(repeat outro section to fade...)

Other lyrics:

Sister of night
In your saddest dress
As you walk through the light
You're desperate to impress
So you slide to the floor
Feeling insecure

Sister of night
With the loneliest eyes
Tell yourself it's alright
He'll make such a perfect prize
But the cold light of day
Will give the game away

Oh sister, come for me
Embrace me, assure me
Hey sister, I feel it too
Sweet sister, just feel me
I'm trembling, you heal me
Hey sister, I feel it too
