[Intro]

C

[Verse]

C
Old Jim, he lived on the edge of town
G C
He walked the streets, morning to sundown
G F
We all knew his name, but we called him crazy
C
He picked up cans just to get by
G
Doing what he could to survive
C G F
Had an old dog that never left his side, he called Daisy
G Am F
The whole town warned me to stay away from him
G Am F
I used to wonder who's better, those people or Jim

[Chorus]

C
Cause if the world is round and we all breathe air
G
We all laugh and we all get scared
C G F
We all have our shared good and bad times
C
Yeah we've all got a heart, we've all got a soul
G
And on the day that we're born we all start to grow old
C G F
Think about it, it really comes as no suprise
G C G F
We all look the saaame through Gods eyes

[Verse]

C
Bill he's sitting on cellblock 5
G
Killed a man for messing with his wife
C G F
Probably gonna spend the rest of his life in prison

C
When he put that ring on Delila's hand
G
He never thought she'd find another man
C G F
He never dreamed that he have to make that decision
G Am F
When he fired those shots, did he buy himself a ticket to Hell?
G AM
I don't think heaven is any further away
F
from a church than a jail cell

[Chorus]

G C
We all look the saaame through Gods eyes

[Bridge]

C
A wino living in an old Dodge van
G
A preacher with a bible in his hand
C G F
A long hair guitar picker in a hillbilly band
G Am F
As far as he's concerned there ain't much difference you see
G Am F
Between Jim, the Preacher, the wino and Bill and me

[Chorus]

G C
We all look the saaame through Gods eyes
