The Laurels é uma banda formada no ano de 2006 em Sydney/Austrália. Seu som estilo rock psicodélico, alternativo, shoegazing tem influências de bandas como My Blood Valentine, Sonic Youth, Primal Scream, Spacemen 3 entre outras.
A banda é formada por Conor Hannan,Kate Wilson,Piers Cornelius, Luke O'Farrell se popularizou após uma apresentação no festival de Sydney um dos mais importantes festivais do país.
