The Gits
The Gits se formo en 1986 en Ohio y se trasladaron a Seattle tres años mas tarde, cuando el fenomeno grunge empezo a ser predominante en el Noroeste del Pacifico. Los integrantes del grupo eran la vocalista Mia Zapata, John Spleen como guitarrista, Matthew Fred como bajista y el bateria Steve Moriarty.
The Gits llegaron a ser muy populares debido a su desafio antisocial y por ello crearon escena. Ganaron mucha reputacion debido a su incomprometida vision de las cosas y a su estetica street punk
