Mai Fukui
Japanese singer-songwriter Mai Fukui made her major label debut with the theme song to TBS's highly anticipated "Koizora" drama series in 2008. The song is a ballad titled "Ai no Uta," went on sale on August 20.
Born on the December 17, 1984 in Kyoto, Japan, she sent out her first demo tape, catching the attention of Avex and her current management agency. She moved to Tokyo in February, and three months later TBS offered her the chance to sing for "Koizora".
