Idan Raichel is an Israeli musician, who gained his world popularity at the age of 26 as his debut album "Idan Raichel Project" was released in 2002. Heavily rooted in Israeli as well as arabic culture, Idan makes traditional Israeli, African and arabic music sound up-to-date, with modern music technologies and trends. Idan Raichel Project is a group of 15 to 22 singers and musicians, who perform live concerts and record albums.
Currently there are 2 albums available: "Idan Raichel Project" (2002) and "Memaakeem" (2005).
