Hot Nasties
The Hot Nasties were a punk rock band from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They were of the first wave of Canadian punk rock and featured the future Liberal Party of Canada strategist and lawyer Warren Kinsella on bass and vocals.
In 1976, high-school friends Warren Kinsella, Alan McDonald and Pierre Schenk decided to form a punk rock band called the Social Blemishes. In 1977, they changed their name to the Hot Nasties.
In 1980, they released their first 7" EP, the Invasion of the Tribbles EP on Kinsella's own Social Blemish Records.
