Best Ex (formerly Candy Hearts) is the new pop direction of New Jersey's Mariel Loveland, who announced her new look and musical style on 06/05/2017, along with her new album Ice Cream Antisocial and song Girlfriend. On twitter, she described the new venture as "breaking up with herself", and assured her fans that "we are not Ex-Candy Hearts".
