American Flyer

American Flyer

American Flyer was an American folk-rock 'supergroup' formed in 1976 that released two albums before disbanding in 1978. The band had one minor US hit, "Let Me Down Easy", which reached No. 80 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1976.

The band comprised four singer-songwriters. Craig Fuller had been in Pure Prairie League, Eric Kaz had been in The Blues Magoos and had put out a pair of solo albums, Steve Katz had been in both The Blues Project and Blood, Sweat & Tears, and Doug Yule had been in The Velvet Underground.
